 History of a soil : The Côtes-du-Ventoux “VENTOUX PRESTIGE” Elevé en Foudre (Matured in large oak casks) is one of the main examples of Les Vignerons du Mont-Ventoux winery’s move aiming at offering outstanding styles of A.O.C. Côtes du Ventoux wines achieved through the selection - of the soils and grapes -, the wine-making and maturing techniques but never forgetting the principle of faithfulness to the typicity of the appellation before all.
Soils : chalky-clayey, slightly sandy soils.
 History of a know-how : Optimal sanitary state of the harvest which is totally destemmed.
Each grape variety is vinified apart.
Long vatting with several daily ‘remontages’.
Pumping-over of the vat juice onto the cap of solids. .
Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (28/30°C).
Blending after completion of the malolactic fermentation.
The wine is kept for 18 months in large oak cask.
 History of sensations : Eye : Intense garnet colour with purple hues
Nose : Predominantly fruity bouquet - red and black berries and stewed fruits - with spicy and peppery aromas.
Mouth : A wine in full bloom, showing an expressive fruit with a round, fleshy and silky texture.
 Histoire of pleasure : Roasts and grilled meats, poultry and feathered game as well as medium strong cheeses.

Ready for drinking now but can be laid down for 3 to 5 more year
Serve at 17/18 ° C
